An event aimed to connect academics with industry representatives and facilitate sharing of new ideas, discussions about potential cooperation in the process of creating new products and implementing joint projects, took place in Vilnius on November the 5th. This matchmaking event included presentations about success cases of business and science representatives’ collaboration in the past and a presentation from Jekaterina Rojaka, the vice minister of Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania, as well as matchmaking itself on group and individual face-to-face basis.

64 people attended the event: 45 of them were representatives of academia and other research institutions, while rest of the attendees represented international business stakeholders from various industries, including telecommunications, lighting, measurement technologies, software development, railways, logistics, public utilities and innovative food products.
